Detroit-area filmmaker Matthew Peach is premiering his new movie, “Friday Night King”, at the Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak Mi, on Thursday, December 14th.
“Friday Night King” tells the story of a Detroit blue-collar worker, played by Eric Paul Porzadek, who leads a secret life as king of an underground club. Portions of the film were shot at the Leland City Club in Detroit, and gives you a glimpse into a unique culture of people. Log onto FridayNightKing.com to watch the trailers.
Peach is pleased about the release of his short film and says, “Tri-Omega is excited to show a movie that gives a real glimpse into the underground life of Detroit. And how people from all walks of life are involved”.
Audience members are encouraged to dress up in their favorite alternative club gear. Prizes will be given out to the best dressed participants.
In addition to the world premier of Friday Night King, Peach will be showing other short films by local filmmakers including “Caught” directed by Mike Madigan, and an episode of the Detroit produced series “In Zero” by Thought Collide Productions.
